Rhodamine B is a synthetic dye that usually used in the textile and paper industries. According to Permenkes No.239/Menkes/Per/V/85 regarding certain dyes, it states rhodamine dangerous substance. prohibited for use as food additive because has chelating compounds chlorine which can cause cancer humans. Based on above problems, review of articles was carried out by collecting journal literature through Google Scholar analyze content samples using thin layer chromatography, UV-VIS spectrophotometry, chromatography methods.
